Alfagram is an unofficial client app for Telegram. It is built on Telegram’s open-source code, so the interface and all core features are familiar. On top of that it adds ghost mode, saved deleted messages, edit history and ad filters.
No. Alfagram is an independent project and is not affiliated with Telegram. The app works through the official Telegram API, so your messages travel through Telegram’s servers as usual.
No, Alfagram is completely free. There are no in-app purchases or subscriptions.
Yes. Enter your phone number and the confirmation code arrives in your official Telegram app or by SMS. After signing in, all your chats, channels and folders load automatically.
Download the new APK and install it over the old one. Your account, chats and saved messages are kept. We announce new versions in our Telegram channel.
Android 6.0 and newer. The app ships as a universal APK and runs on almost every modern smartphone.
The download page lists the SHA-256 checksum of each version. Compare it with the checksum of the file you downloaded — if they match, the file hasn’t been modified.
With ghost mode on, the app doesn’t send Telegram’s servers the signals about your activity: read receipts, “online” and “typing…” statuses, story views. Each option can be switched on separately in the app settings.
Only on your phone, in the app’s local database. They are never sent to any server. If you clear the app’s data or uninstall it, the saved messages are removed too.
No. The message had already reached your device before it was deleted — Alfagram simply doesn’t erase it. No signal is sent to the other person.

Alfagram works through the official Telegram API and never passes your account data anywhere. Still, features like ghost mode don’t fully comply with Telegram’s rules for third-party apps, so no unofficial client can give a full guarantee. You use the app at your own discretion.
